The three bar types and when to use each

Free shipping progress

Shows how much more the shopper needs to spend for free shipping — “Spend €12.50 more…” — and recalculates instantly every time the cart changes, without a page reload. When the goal is reached the bar switches to your unlocked message, with optional confetti. With Shopify Markets you can set a separate threshold per currency.

Countdown

• Fixed end date — one campaign, one deadline. Right for Black Friday or a product launch.
• Repeats daily — ends at the same time every day. Right for same-day dispatch cut-offs.
• Evergreen per visitor — each visitor gets their own timer. Right for first-visit offers.

You choose what happens at zero: the bar hides, or keeps showing the message.

Announcement

A plain message with an optional button — new collection, holiday notice, store-wide code. No logic, just your words in the shopper's language.
