A reminder was not sent — how to find out why

A diagnostic order of checks that resolves almost every case in a couple of minutes.

Work through these in order. Each one rules out a whole class of cause.

1. Is sending actually on?

The main switch is “Send automatic reorder reminders”. During setup many people configure everything and leave the switch off deliberately, then forget.

2. Does the customer qualify?

Search their email on the recipients page. A badge of “no consent” or “unsubscribed” is the answer.

3. Does the product have an interval?

A product with too little history and no fallback interval will never trigger. The product list shows learned, overridden and paused states side by side.

4. Is it simply not due yet?

The upcoming sends list shows the next seven days of scheduled reminders. If the customer is on it, nothing is wrong — it is waiting for the right moment.

5. Quiet hours

Reminders are only sent between 08:00 and 21:00 in your store's timezone. A reminder due at 23:00 goes out the following morning, not at night.

6. Free plan limit

The free plan includes 25 reminders per month. Once the limit is reached, sending pauses until the month rolls over. The dashboard shows how many you have used.

Still unexplained? Send us the store domain, the customer's email and the product, and we will look at the server logs for that exact case. We usually answer the same working day.
