Badge types fall into two groups. Conditional types read live product data and apply themselves. Manual types show wherever you target them, and are useful for claims only you can make.
Conditional
- New — the product was published within the last N days. Default is 30.
- Sale — the price is below the compare-at price.
- Discount % — the discount reaches the threshold you set, and the percentage appears in the badge text.
- Low stock — stock is at or below your limit but still above zero. The number appears in the text.
- Sold out — stock has reached zero.
Manual
- Best seller, Back in stock, Free shipping, Pre-order, Limited edition — each shows on whatever you target.
- Custom — your own wording, which you can write separately for every language.
A product shows at most three badges at once. When several rules match, the ones nearest the top of your list win — reorder them with the arrows on the Badges screen.
